My name is Larry Bertuccelli and I have been a long-arm quilter for almost 20 years.  My wife, Nancy, and I are previous owners and operators of Bearly Quilting, a highly successful quilt store in Northern California.  As a full-service quilt store we sold fabric, quilting tools & supplies, sewing & quilting machines, sewing cabinets & furniture, as well as providing a variety of specialized classes and training in quilt piecing and machine quilting.  We were also authorized dealers for HandiQuilter long-arm quilting machines and we were the number one dealer in Northern California for sales and service.  In addition to selling, servicing, and training with long-arm machines, we also provided machine quilting services to our customers offering edge-to-edge, custom, and heirloom quilting.  Over the many years, Nancy and I have been guest speakers at many quilt guilds and groups.  In 2016, we retired and closed Bearly Quilting.  The demand for machine quilting remained, however, and we continue to quilt for customers from our home studio…and thus became the start of American Quilt Works!
